Robin Holmes

Originally from Chicago, Dr. Holmes has lived in Alaska since moving to Anchorage for her residency training at the Alaska Family Medicine Residency. She has a BA from Oberlin College, and completed her medical degree at University of Illinois at Chicago. She has previously practiced in Anchorage and Fairbanks, where she most recently lived for 5 years, working in both private practice and a community health center. She moved to Homer in July 2021 to join the KBFPC team as Medical Director and a clinician.

Dr. Holmes is also fluent in Spanish, and was a medical interpreter during medical school. With special interests in reproductive justice, equity in access to health care, and gender-affirming services, she is very excited to be a part of the KBFPC and REC Room team. In her down time she loves cycling, packrafting, cooking, and gardening, as well as going for beach walks with her dogs.
