Thank you for being part of this year with us — what a journey it’s been, and we’re grateful to have shared it with you.
With your support, in 2025 our team provided reproductive healthcare to more than 696 people, completed over 1,362 sexually transmitted infection tests, and connected with 3,975 community members at events across the Kenai Peninsula.
As we close out the year, we hope you find time for rest, adventure, and meaningful moments with the people you care about.

At-home Semenalysis Kits
KBFPC is excited to begin offering at-home post-vasectomy semen collection kits to provide an easy and discreet solution for determining whether sperm is still present in semen following a vasectomy procedure. Designed for maximum convenience, the kit allows patients to complete their semen analysis from the comfort and privacy of their own home and mail in their sample for a result, eliminating the need for a post-procedure lab visit.

Parent Corner
Parents often say books are one of the most effective tools for talking with young people about their bodies, relationships, and health. If you’re looking for a new option, check out this workbook on body literacy designed for ages 7-12: My One-of-a-Kind Body: The Ultimate Guide to Caring for Me by pediatrician Whitney Casares. Through a diverse cast of campers at the fictional Camp Corazón, kids and tweens meet characters who reflect their own experiences and broaden their empathy skills. Bright illustrations and fun body facts keep readers engaged while reinforcing one core message: all bodies are good bodies—especially their own.

Birds, Bees, and Beyond
Join KBFPC Teen Health for “Birds, Bees, & Beyond,” an engaging and informative event designed to support parents/caregivers and connect them with others in their community. Our next meet up is on Monday, December 15 at the Kachemak Bay Campus from 5:30 – 6:30pm. We meet monthly on the third Monday of each month.
Healthy Relationships Workshops
An opportunity for teens to gain foundational, age-appropriate healthy relationships knowledge outside of the school week! This FREE one-day workshop is convenient for families with busy after-school activities, who still want access to this unique health education opportunity for your teen. Sessions will use the district-approved curriculum. Participants will receive a gift card to a local business.
Lunch and snacks provided.

All year long, KBFPC provides life-saving breast and cervical cancer screenings to hundreds of Alaskans—regardless of income, age, or insurance status. We need your financial support to keep care accessible in the new year. And right now, your gift goes twice as far!
