Beth moved to Alaska with her partner in 1995 and Homer has been home ever since. The open, wild nature and freedom of Alaska were alluring, but it was the community that made her stay. Volunteering at KBBI, Homer’s Public Radio station, she hosts Positive Vibrations – a biweekly Reggae music show running for over 20 years. She served on KBBI’s Board of Directors for 5 years.

Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clinic and more recently the REC Room have been an important and integral source of health care, family care, and community building for Beth and her family. It is a great pleasure to serve on KBFPC’s Board of Directors.
