Coming up on January 30! As part of national “Project Homeless Connect” efforts to connect with and support anyone who is experiencing or at risk of homelessness, houselessness, housing insecurity, financial instability, or anyone in need of assistance, resources or extra support, each January groups on the Kenai Peninsula organize free one-day events to support our neighbors in need. All are welcome and eligible to attend!

One-stop for resources like free supplies and comfort items, winter clothes & safety gear, food, hygiene kits, and connection to local agencies offering information and resources related to essential services, housing, food, employment, healthcare, mental health, and more.

Soldotna event: contact Alaska Cab 907-262-1555 (for pick-up/drop-off in Soldotna or Kenai) or CARTS 907-262-8900 (for out of town pick-up/drop-off)
KBFPC will be at all events, with information about our low- or no-cost sexual & reproductive healthcare services and free condoms, menstrual supplies, and emergency contraception available.
This year, we’re hoping to provide an even better variety of period products for community members: if you’d like to contribute to our Menstrual Supply Drive, please donate unopened boxes of tampons and pads of all absorbency strengths at the clinic (3959 Ben Walters Lane in Homer) by Monday January 29 (open Mon-Fri, 9-5).
