Community Health Outreach

KBFPC’s Community Health Outreach project reaches individuals in our community by combining door-to-door outreach and public events. Women’s Health Outreach workers provide one-to-one information, education and support to help women access low-cost and no-cost reproductive health care and cancer screening. Since the year 2000, Women’s Health Outreach workers have reached over 13,000 women, providing education on breast and cervical cancer screening and up-to-date information on issues that impact women’s health. KBFPC is a provider of the Alaska Breast and Cervical Health Check program and offers no-cost annual exams, clinical breast exams, mammograms and diagnostic services at no-cost to women who qualify.
