KBFPC is a member-supported organization providing high-quality, low cost reproductive healthcare for women, men and families of the southern Kenai Peninsula. Generosity through membership donations helps us continue to serve every person who comes through our doors…regardless of his or her ability to pay.

Look at what membership donations have helped us accomplish over the past year:

  • At the Clinic we have served 1001 clients, did 960 STD tests, 634 clinical breast exams and 209 mammograms. Not one person was turned away due to inability to pay.
  • Our Women’s Health Outreach Program connected with over 2,000 women across our community and helped them access low- or no-cost annual health checks, breast exams and mammograms.
  • Through our youth services programs, teens across the Southern Kenai Peninsula participated in activities to help them build skills to make healthy life choices and get connected with other positive youth resources in the community.

Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clinic is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors. We not sell, rent, trade or share donor information with any other organization.

Volunteer Opportunity Spotlight: Serve as a Committee or Board Member!

Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clinic (KBFPC) seeks interested community members to apply to serve as members of the Committees or Board.  This is an opportunity to help preserve access to low- and no-cost reproductive health care and education for men, women and families of the Southern Kenai Peninsula.

The KBFPC, offers a range of confidential clinical services for men and women such as Annual Well-Woman Exams, birth control consultation and supplies, and STD testing and treatment.  The KBFPC also operates the R.E.C Room (Youth Resource & Enrichment Co-op), that provides teens with a safe space to spend time with friends and get connected with other healthy activities and resources available for youth in our community.  KBFPC’s Women’s Health Outreach Program reaches medically under served women by combining door-to-door outreach and public events to provide education and facilitate access to health care options through the Alaska Breast and Cervical Health Check Program.

Community members with experience in event planning, teaching, health care, business, or other Board experience urged to apply. For more information contact Catriona at catriona@kbfpc.org
